Part-Time Forex Trading can be profitable?

Forex trading can be difficult in most cases, even if you exercise a full-time, sitting at a computer screen all day closely following open positions, however, can be really tough going. That said, you can really make profits by trading part-time? Well I am a forex trader, and even if I sit in front of the screen for most of the day, most of this time is spent working on my various websites.


The actual time I spend looking at charts is minimal in comparison.

My relaxed attitude in front of the forex trading is due to the fact that my method of trading are based on a 4-hour chart on the major currency pairs. In addition to using a number of technical indicators of the trend, one of my most trusted and popular methods is to wait until the intersection of short-term moving averages. This generally requires a look every now and then I follow the charts to see if a crossing is imminent.

It is true, however, that this is not really a true definition of trading part time. I spend in front of my monitor most of the day is looking for new positions or to keep an eye on any open positions. 
Trading part-time, in fact, just about to trade for part of the day, for example, only at certain times , by setting entry and exit orders which will be activated automatically if you touch a certain price in the future, when you are away from your computer.

This may seem even more difficult, but it is quite possible to make profits in this way. 
For example, if you decide to trade for part of the day, then you will adopt a shorter term. I can get good profits at the opening of the London session, ie from 8.00 to 9.00 in the United Kingdom, as the prices of the major currencies, especially the GBP / USD and EUR / USD, showing a strong trend volatile during the opening hours.

Another method of trading would be to look only at the daily charts. For example, the best thing would probably be to develop a strategy that follows the daily support and resistance levels and are looking for possible revenue the next day. This way you can set up your orders the night before and will be activated only if you broke a certain price level.
